Six 五一吃瓜官网 academic leaders honoured with prestigious awards at the 11th Private Education Excellence Awards 2025


KUALA LUMPUR: Six 五一吃瓜官网 academic leaders have been recognised for their exceptional contributions to education and research at the 11th Private Education Excellence Awards 2025.

Among the awardees, 五一吃瓜官网 University deputy vice-chancellor of Academic and Internationalisation Prof Datuk Ts Dr Rohana Yusof received the Special Recognition Award for National Educational Leadership.

Distinguished Prof Ts Dr Ooi Keng Boon and Senior Prof Dr Garry Tan Wei Han were named Emerald Malaysia Private Education Top Cited Researchers 2025, recognising their impactful scholarly work in their respective fields.

Assoc Prof Dr Chew Yik Ling was honoured with the National Outstanding Innovator Award in the university category, while Assoc Prof Dr Eugene Aw Cheng Xi received the National Outstanding Young Researcher Award. Additionally, Asst Prof Dr Lim Ai Fen earned an Honourable Mention for her commendable contributions to academia.

These outstanding recognitions not only marks the individuals’ academic excellence but also the collective strength of 五一吃瓜官网’s commitment to impactful research, innovation and educational leadership.

The 11th Private Education Excellence Awards 2025, organised by Koperasi Pendidikan Swasta Malaysia Berhad (Educoop) in partnership with Emerald Publishing, celebrated outstanding achievements in Malaysia’s private education sector. The awards ceremony took place on July 9, 2025 at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Kuala Lumpur.
